    Adjusted Wasserstein Distributionally Robust Estimator in Statistical Learning

    We propose an adjusted Wasserstein distributionally robust estimator -- based on a nonlinear transformation of the Wasserstein distributionally robust (WDRO) estimator in statistical learning. This transformation will improve the statistical performance of WDRO because the adjusted WDRO estimator is asymptotically unbiased and has an asymptotically smaller mean squared error. The adjusted WDRO will not mitigate the out-of-sample performance guarantee of WDRO. Sufficient conditions for the existence of the adjusted WDRO estimator are presented, and the procedure for the computation of the adjusted WDRO estimator is given. Specifically, we will show how the adjusted WDRO estimator is developed in the generalized linear model. Numerical experiments demonstrate the favorable practical performance of the adjusted estimator over the classic one

    Data asset management is adequate in solving the problem of data silence and data idleness for enterprises. Through intelligent algorithms such as neural network, in-depth learning and block chain, and guided by business needs, it extracts, analyzes and visualizes the existing business precipitation data, and forms scattered and disordered data into valuable information to support the development of the company, so as to activate data assets. Taking the management data of electric power equipment as an example, this paper proposes a method of fusion of multiple intelligent control algorithms. The specific modules include the fusion of heterogeneous data; feature extraction of equipment asset management data based on machine learning; intelligent control of multi-objective optimization environment based on energy consumption data; BIM data visualization based on data classification-energy extraction-neural network (SVM-CART-SAE-DNN) algorithm fusion. The algorithm can effectively improve the efficiency of equipment management and enhance the security and economy of power infrastructure through intelligent control of equipment management

    Robust Cooperative Strategy for Contour Matching Using Epipolar Geometry

    Feature matching in images plays an important role in computer vision such as for 3D reconstruction, motion analysis, object recognition, target tracking and dynamic scene analysis. In this paper, we present a robust cooperative strategy to establish the correspondence of the contours between two uncalibrated images based on the recovered epipolar geometry. We take into account two representations of contours in image as contour points and contour chains. The method proposed in the paper is composed of the following two consecutive steps: (1) The first step uses the LMedS method to estimate the fundamental matrix based on Hartley’s 8-point algorithm, (2) The second step uses a new robust cooperative strategy to match contours.     Gap Structure of the Overdoped Iron-Pnictide Superconductor Ba(Fe0.942_{0.942}Ni0.058_{0.058})2_{2}As2_{2}: A Low-Temperature Specific-Heat Study

    Low-temperature specific heat (SH) is measured on the postannealed Ba(Fe_{1-x}Ni_x)_2As_2 single crystal with x = 0.058 under different magnetic fields. The sample locates on the overdoped sides and the critical transition temperature is determined to be 14.8 K by both the magnetization and SH measurements. A simple and reliable analysis shows that, besides the phonon and normal electronic contributions, a clear T2 termemerges in the low temperature SH data.Our observation is similar to that observed in the Co-doped system in our previous work and is consistent with the theoretical prediction for a superconductor with line nodes in the energy gap.Comment: 5 pages, 4 figure
